Not So Fall Fun

Matt and I ventured to the cities Saturday to go shopping. Although it is the middle of September, we have been having a stretch of Indian Summer. The weather was awesome. We stopped in Belle Plaine @ Emma Krumbee's for our annual apple picking adventure. We went a few weeks earlier than we usually do, so not all the apples were ready to be picked. A little disappointing, but oh well! Here a few pictures.

While in the cities, we drove over the new 35W bridge. It was so sobering driving over this massive structure that will hopefully with stand more than the last one. Our thoughts an prayers are with the victims of the collapse and their families.

Hi all! We had a blast on vacation. A lot of rest and relaxation. It was great spending time with Matt's extended family. Luckily I started to feel better midway through vacation, so I was really able to enjoy my self. I expecially loved the trip to the spa with my mother in law :).

One of the nasty sides of vacation is coming home. I came home to find myself really behind in school. I think I am on the way in getting caught up, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Thank god that I have really understanding instructors. Posted above are a few pictures from vacation. Hope you all had a great week!

Vacation

The time is now here for the much needed vacation. Along with Matt's Mom Paulette, we leave for the 5 days at the lake tomorrow. We can't wait!!!! Both Matt and I need the rest. We will be staying at a rented house at The Grandview Lodge (Nisswa, MN) along with Matt's aunt and uncle and their families. Should be a blast. Not far away, will be the extended Ibberson family. Needless to say we are very excited.

I spent the afternoon today in New Ulm watching the Bavarian Blast parade with Matt's mom Paulette. It was a great parade. Matt's dad drove one of his antique tractors in the parade.

New Blog

I'm new to this era of blogging, so please bear with me. After a lot of coaxing, I decided to start my own blog. At first it was to update friends and family about our pregnancy, but most of you have already heard that Matt and I lost the baby a week ago. We are sad but resigned. God knew that there was something wrong and this was the only option. Now we have an angel looking down on us. There is a positive side to the story, at least now we know we can get pregnant. We will just have to try again :)
